The WebSocket migration in CLI v1.5.1 and Mobile App v1.6.1 replaces the previous SSE/polling delivery path. Pairing a new client with an old one will work (the server keeps both transports available during rollout), but you only get the latency and reliability improvements when both ends are upgraded.

For Full Feature Support
To access all T-Ex LLM features and ensure optimal compatibility:
- Claude CLI: Version 2.1.0 or higher
- T-Ex LLM CLI: Version 1.6.8 or higher
- Mobile App: Version 1.7.5 or higher
Legacy Versions
If you're using Claude CLI < 2.1.0, T-Ex LLM CLI < 1.3.0, or Mobile App < 1.6.1, some features may be limited or unavailable. We recommend upgrading to the latest versions.
